We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Project Specialist to enhance our team. Qualifications for the Geotechnical Engineering Project Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Intern Engineer Certificate or the ability to obtain it within six months
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to review and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Positive demeanor with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Valid New York State Driver's License

Key Responsibilities of the Geotechnical Engineering Project Specialist:

  • Assessing subgrade preparation for shallow foundations
  • Overseeing the installation of deep foundation systems
  • Conducting construction materials engineering and geotechnical assessments during the construction phase
  • Providing technical assistance to Construction Materials Technicians
  • Managing project-related tasks including proposal development, client relations, technical evaluations, and invoice assessments
  • Preparing and disseminating technical reports and project communications
  • Utilizing laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for reporting, scheduling, and document oversight

ATL participates in e-Verify: This employer will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with the information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
