Procurement Specialist

JobsRUs is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating with our Engineer department to ensure seamless purchase order processing.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with the Engineer department to enter and track purchase orders.
- Complete month-end closure in all assigned areas.
- Expedite emergency material and service requirements.
- Closely interact with accounting to ensure efficient requisition to payment processes and timely payments with suppliers.
- Support continuous improvement activities at the site and ensure procurement is selecting suppliers that offer the company a competitive advantage.
- Enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, management, or finance, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of stock inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective negotiator and problem solver.
