Position Overview:
The Continuous Improvement Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency within our organization. This position is dedicated to recognizing, executing, and maintaining initiatives that promote efficiency, minimize waste, and elevate quality across our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects focused on continuous improvement.
  • Identify and assess improvement opportunities through data analysis, process mapping, and root cause investigation.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Educate and guide team members on continuous improvement practices and tools.
  • Monitor and report on the status of improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure effective implementation of changes.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical) is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a continuous improvement or process engineering role is essential.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical tools is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to a sister plant as needed.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
