Job Overview
We are in search of a dedicated and results-driven professional for the position of Medical Sales Consultant to oversee a specified region. This role is essential in promoting our product offerings within the assigned area.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in advocating for our product line by:


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborating closely with the District Manager to align with daily sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Exhibiting a strong ambition to expand and manage your territory by executing effective sales and branding strategies.
  • Analyzing market data to develop and implement tailored business plans that enhance customer engagement and drive sales performance.
  • Engaging with targeted Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and their staff to effectively promote and educate them about our products through various means including presentations and educational programs.
  • Identifying and nurturing relationships with new potential clients.
  • Utilizing your sales acumen and product expertise to encourage HCPs to prescribe our products.
  • Optimizing sales routes and utilizing resources efficiently to achieve desired sales outcomes.
  • Adopting a proactive approach to territory management.
  • Continuously seeking innovative methods to improve results and applying problem-solving skills to develop new strategies.
  • Working collaboratively with both internal and external partners while also being capable of independent work.
  • Effectively communicating complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to driving sales.
  • Ensuring ethical promotion of our products in accordance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Additional Responsibilities

This position is part of our Primary Care and Dermatology Specialty Team, which collaborates with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms to create and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.

In this role, you will be responsible for promoting products within our portfolio, both independently and in partnership with established clients.

The successful candidate will be a vital member of a nationwide sales team, managing an assigned territory that encompasses a variety of targeted areas.


Expectations
  • Proactively promote our products to both targeted and non-targeted healthcare professionals, crafting a strategic business plan to influence their prescribing practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to foster loyalty and enhance brand recognition.
  • Manage the territory budget to support sales initiatives effectively.
  • Employ a defined selling model to maximize customer engagement during each interaction.
  • Develop initiatives to boost customer engagement and align with business objectives while analyzing competitive and market trends.
  • Leverage knowledge of clinical studies to consult and maintain strong customer relationships, tailoring discussions to meet their specific needs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance technical and sales skills.
  • Identify customer needs to facilitate product placement.
  • Communicate clinical sales messages effectively to secure commitments from clients.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a results-oriented mindset, confidence, and an engaging demeanor, along with the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • A minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a performance-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Adobe, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and being receptive to coaching.
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license for daily visits to healthcare accounts.
  • A commitment to personal development, collaboration, and a proactive work ethic.
