Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead our HR initiatives and support our growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's growth objectives, particularly in preparation for our IPO.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and hire top-tier software engineering talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, fostering a collaborative and innovative workplace.
  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with company goals and providing guidance to managers on effective feedback and development practices.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal regulations and industry standards, and keep the employee handbook updated.
  • Develop and oversee training and development programs to promote employee growth and leadership capabilities.
  • Champion initiatives that promote our core values and enhance our company culture, especially as we transition into a publicly traded company.
  • Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to drive decisions and improve HR processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a start-up or tech or pre-IPO environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance issues relevant to a technology company.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
