Job Title: Director HR Operations and Service Delivery

Job Summary:

The Director of HR Operations and Service Delivery will define and integrate functional area strategy into the overall HR Strategy, ensuring alignment with El Camino Health's goals and Vision 2025.

This role will drive a high-performance team through building team capability and confidence, continually monitoring and staying up-to-date on HR, business, and societal trends.

The Director will use a comprehensive approach to making HR recommendations and decisions, including workforce and market data insights, financial implications to ECH, and HR functional expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR tiered service delivery in alignment with HR transformation initiatives
  • Build service level agreements/expectations and drive use of chatbot and self-service functionality
  • Lead the HR process improvement/process mapping activities
  • Establish and maintain HR service delivery agreements
  • Lead, manage, and develop service delivery team
  • Develop continual process improvements within shared services structure
  • Develop and manage to shared services reporting metrics and tracking data to fulfill SLA's

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in human resources, business, social science, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of HR management, business, finance, and/or organizational development with 8 years or more working in a managerial, program management, and/or director level
  • Thorough understanding of ECH financial structure, budget process, and growth strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic plans using analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills
  • Embraces challenges and collaborates with peers, colleagues, team members across El Camino Health
  • Engages and supports ongoing engagement and development of team
  • Experience in developing and leading HR operations and service
  • Able to see the big picture while also ready to get into the details
  • Highly proficient in utilizing and leveraging data and analytics to track success, make decisions, understand program effectiveness, and drive action
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
