We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent/ Night Audit Relief to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn El Paso Airport. Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner, using up-selling techniques to maximize room rates; prepare for group check-ins, check-outs, and VIP arrivals.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity; answer and route calls as appropriate; take guest messages with accuracy.
- Sales and Marketing: Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager; promote hotel services, facilities, and outlets.
- Customer Service: Offer and properly handle requests for wake-up calls; record pertinent guest information in the pass on log; ensure common area/lobby is clean.
- Financial Transactions: Process customer payments according to established policies and procedures; balance cash bag at open and closing of each shift.
- Communication: Transmit and receive messages using equipment such as a computer, telephone, and switchboard.
- Professional Image: Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress; follow company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
