Job Summary

As a Front Desk Agent at Aloft El Paso Downtown, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay. Your primary responsibilities will include registering guests, making and modifying reservations, and handling hotel operator and concierge duties.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay, maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain the front desk area, handle guest inquiries, and respond to requests for information, mail, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reservations and Check-In/Check-Out: Process room reservations, check-in, and check-out, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain good communication with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Experience: Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Possess a positive and upbeat personality, with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. Demonstrate the ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
