This position entails managing the registration, admission, and scheduling processes for both inpatient and outpatient services. Key responsibilities include gathering and entering patient data, verifying eligibility and provider information, and efficiently coordinating appointments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong computer skills are essential
  • Previous experience in an office environment and customer service is preferred
  • Familiarity with IBM or comparable computer systems is advantageous
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and Word applications
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with 10-key proficiency
  • Experience with Medicaid or commercial insurance is a plus
  • A minimum of one year in similar roles is required
  • Ability to communicate in Yup'ik is beneficial
