The KSPS PBS team is looking for a passionate, creative, and driven Corporate Partnerships Coordinator to lead and contribute to vital fundraising initiatives.

This role entails prospecting, identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and nurturing corporate sponsors and underwriters to support the organization's mission.

The ideal candidate will develop and execute solicitation strategies for each corporate contact, prepare written proposals and informational materials, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of corporate philanthropy practices.

As part of the growing development team, you will report to the Director of Development and work alongside a Corporate Underwriting Officer to fulfill the organization's fundraising goals while contributing to overall planning and development.

Salary Range: $31.25/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, Cultivate, and Solicit Corporate Donors:
Manage and nurture a portfolio of current and prospective corporate sponsors.


Develop tailored strategies for business owners with the capacity and interest to support KSPS PBS's programs and initiatives.


Coordinate solicitation meetings and visits in collaboration with the Development Director and other staff or board members as appropriate.

Maintain accurate records of all donor interactions and future planning.

Make regular appreciation calls and emails to corporate sponsors.

Create and send prompt thank-you letters.

Draft scripts and liaise with the Production department and clients to manage underwriting message content and approvals.


Oversee all aspects of the corporate underwriting contract, including proposal writing, contract management, tracking, ensuring deliverables, invoicing, and bill collection as necessary.

Collaborate across departments with Production, Marketing, and Education to achieve station objectives and ensure all contractual obligations are met.


Co-host donor events, working with development, production, and education teams, executing various events throughout the year, including collateral design, sponsor solicitation, volunteer recruitment, and day-of support.


Act as a representative for the organization in the community, attending external nonprofit events and networking opportunities to connect with current and prospective donors.


Fundraising Strategy and Materials:


Develop and manage a corporate sponsor stewardship plan to enhance relationships through regular interactions and expressions of gratitude.

Create content and design for regular e-newsletters to keep key stakeholders engaged.

Manage regular appeal communications, including writing polished and compelling copy for large-scale mailings and emails.

Generate personalized acknowledgment letters for corporate contributions.

Create corporate gift proposals and follow-up reports.

Identify current and potential sponsors and engage with new sponsors proactively.

Track contributed income and cash flow monthly for individual corporations.

Board and Committee Support:
Provide administrative and strategic support to the Development Committee. Serve as a liaison to the Development Committee of the Board of Directors, board members, and major donors.

Collaborate with board volunteers and senior staff to enhance corporate fundraising efforts.

Attend bi-monthly board meetings.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or sales; equivalent education/experience considered.

Bachelor's degree in nonprofit administration, journalism, marketing, communications, sales, or a related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of nonprofit marketing, development, and project management principles.

Ability to promote the benefits of investing in public media and the station to potential corporate sponsors.

Passion for public media and a keen interest in the nonprofit sector.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building.

Technological proficiency in donor databases, spreadsheets, reports, email, electronic calendars, and word processing.

Experience working with diverse constituencies.

Self-starter with strong project management skills to deliver high-quality results under pressure and tight deadlines.

Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Creative and strategic thinker.

Valid driver's license and insurance required.

Flexibility:
Availability for intermittent evening and weekend events and occasional travel.

Benefits:

Salary Range: $31.25/hr based on experience

Full-time, non-exempt

Regular Schedule (M-F, 8 am - 5 pm) with up to 2 days/week remote work

Up to 11 paid holidays (vacation must fall on a normally scheduled workday) or time and a half when working on the actual holiday
