This position reports to

Field Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will have the chance to perform service tasks of medium to high complexity according to established work instructions and ABB protocols. Each day, you will provide exceptional customer service to meet client needs. You will also demonstrate your expertise by collaborating with customers to identify opportunities within the installed systems, enhancing both system and operational performance. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Enhancing customer satisfaction by planning and executing service tasks in alignment with customer orders and expectations.
• Ensuring customer loyalty by delivering an outstanding customer experience and effectively communicating service timelines and expectations.
• Identifying new service business opportunities for ABB in close collaboration with customers and other ABB teams.
• Mentoring technicians and engineers while overseeing complex site operations.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 additional years of relevant engineering / field / technical experience). A minimum of 5 years of field engineering experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to establish strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively with minimal supervision, exhibiting strong business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% as required. Must possess and maintain a valid passport and driver's license.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the US.
