This position reports to

Field Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will have the chance to perform service tasks of medium to high complexity in accordance with operational guidelines and ABB standards. Each day, you will provide exceptional customer service to meet client needs. You will also demonstrate your expertise by collaborating with clients to identify opportunities within the installed systems, enhancing both system and operational performance. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Enhancing customer satisfaction by planning and executing service tasks according to client orders and expectations.
• Securing customer loyalty by delivering an outstanding customer experience and effectively communicating service timelines and expectations.
• Proactively identifying new service business opportunities for ABB, in close collaboration with clients and other ABB teams.
• Mentoring technicians and engineers while overseeing complex site operations.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 additional years of relevant engineering / field / technical experience). A minimum of 5 years of field engineering experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to establish strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively with minimal supervision, possessing strong business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% as required. Must maintain a valid passport and driver's license.
  • Candidates must already possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
