Job Overview

The Sales Account Specialist will report directly to the Director of Inside Sales. This role is designed to reconnect with dormant clients and enhance relationships with smaller accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage knowledge of Bellami's offerings, policies, and procedures to effectively manage sales transactions with both existing and potential professional customer accounts.
  • Employ all available sales and marketing tools to guide professional stylists through a structured sales process.
  • Proactively seek and identify new sales prospects within current professional customer accounts.
  • Transform inbound and outbound calls into sales and additional opportunities (e.g., upselling, promoting a complete range of products).
  • Achieve and surpass established sales targets, quarterly goals, and annual objectives.
  • Develop new accounts through effective lead generation.
  • Maintain service excellence by reaching out to all accounts in assigned vacant and non-represented territories monthly via phone.
  • In the event of a vacant territory, contact all accounts in the designated area at least once a month until a full-time Inside Sales Representative is appointed.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of three years of sales experience, ideally within the beauty industry or with professional hair stylists.
  • Strong understanding of inside sales principles, including a proven track record of achieving results and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in customer qualification, acquisition, and business development using effective sales strategies.
  • Exceptional planning, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of articulating solutions to both internal and external customers as well as management.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels and excel in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in managing core responsibilities and assigned projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Skilled in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and customer relationship management systems.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Shopify is advantageous.
  • Outstanding telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exemplary oral and written communication capabilities.
