Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and modify all necessary orders and adjustments in the operating system.
  • Evaluate inventory allocations against customer backlogs to determine parts distribution.
  • Manage weekly reports on specific customer backlogs for reconciliation and shipping opportunities.
  • Assist Sales in accessing EDI accounts for designated customers and facilitate order processing.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding order discrepancies and provide effective solutions.
  • Handle challenging customer situations with professionalism to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other Howmet facilities and third-party vendors to address customer inquiries.
  • Follow up with various departments to ensure timely responses to customer needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required upon hire.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Intermediate skills in spreadsheets, databases, and other software applications.
  • Experience in sales or customer service roles within the aerospace fasteners or related industries.
