The Zero-G Team consists of highly skilled professionals located across the country, working remotely or traveling with the Zero-G aircraft.

About the Position
The Zero-G team is seeking a Chief Operations Officer to oversee the daily functions of the organization. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for steering the growth and strategic direction of the brand.

Your responsibilities will include developing and executing business strategies to enhance market presence, identifying new opportunities, and nurturing relationships that contribute to the company's overall growth and success.

This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the long-term vision of the company and drive sustainable growth. You will strive to continually enhance guest satisfaction and optimize the financial performance of the organization. This role requires remote work with significant travel obligations (50% or more).

Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior management role relevant to operations
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing
- Demonstrated success in business development, strategy, and leadership
- Strong grasp of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive forces
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of making data-driven decisions and implementing effective solutions
- Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence in customer service.

A high degree of professionalism with diplomatic communication skills at all levels and the ability to manage confidential information with complete discretion.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO in establishing and driving organizational vision, operations, strategy, and hiring levels
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
- Oversee company operations and employee productivity, fostering a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met
- Provide in-person management and supervision of all flight activities
- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of employees
- Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement, improvement, or cost reduction, preparing detailed updates and forecasts as needed
- Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO
- Oversee operations, HR, accounting, and partner with the CEO in sales management to ensure sufficient investment capital is budgeted for near-term growth targets
- Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to achieve investor targets for growth and profitability
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Identify and implement new operational initiatives to support business growth and innovation.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement and oversee robust safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
- Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial performance.
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Ensure a world-class customer experience by continuously improving operational processes and addressing customer feedback.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align operations with customer expectations and market demands.

Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in luxury travel (aviation, hospitality, or space tourism)
- Experience in private aircraft or yacht charter operations
- Minimum 10 years of management experience
