Your Role: As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will serve as a vital technical advisor to our sales team, ensuring that customer needs are met with precision and expertise. Your collaboration with various stakeholders will be key in promoting our comprehensive range of Access Control products, including advanced hardware intercoms and the myQ Community SaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical guidance and support to the sales team in the promotion and sale of Chamberlain Group's access control offerings.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to highlight features and advantages.
- Fulfill pre-sales technical requirements, including site assessments, architectural drawing evaluations, solution design, and technical advice.
- Interact directly with end users and integrators to grasp their unique needs and challenges.
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist in developing sales materials, training programs, technical documentation, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product management and engineering, to relay customer feedback and market insights.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance within your team.
- Safeguard Chamberlain Group's reputation by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Enhance your professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and participation in industry networks.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; a Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or field sales engineering roles.
- Experience in Security and Access Control systems.
- Strong knowledge of access control systems, gate operators, and associated technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in creating and implementing training initiatives.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
- Preferred: Proven experience in a leadership role within technical sales or field sales engineering.
