POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a Human Services Specialist IV. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and is based in a dynamic environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Advocate for eligible clients during legal proceedings, including civil protection orders and criminal hearings.
  • Accompany clients to local district courts for support.
  • Assist clients in applying for and completing state and county compensation claims.
  • Conduct intake assessments with survivors seeking services and information.
  • Collaborate with the State's Attorney's Office, local law enforcement, and health and human services partners.
  • Maintain monthly statistics of clients served and prepare quarterly reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in data entry and grant reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to the responsibilities and procedures required by the position.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience in the Health and Human Services sector is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Standard working hours, with the possibility of evening and weekend shifts as needed.
