Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Human Services Specialist IV. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and is based in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for eligible clients during legal proceedings, including civil protection orders and criminal hearings.
  • Accompany clients to local district courts for support.
  • Assist clients in navigating state and county compensation claims.
  • Conduct intake assessments with individuals seeking services or information.
  • Collaborate with the State Attorney's Office, local law enforcement, and health and human services partners.
  • Maintain monthly records of clients served and prepare quarterly statistical reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in data entry and grant reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously; self-motivated individuals are encouraged.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Capacity to understand and adhere to the methods and procedures pertinent to the role.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Experience in the Health and Human Services sector is essential.
Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
  • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with the possibility of evening and weekend hours as needed.
