Logistics Sales Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to join our team at Beemac Logistics. As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for growing a book of business in the transportation industry, while influencing and motivating others to perform at a high level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales training for new sales employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the role.
- Lead weekly and monthly sales meetings to discuss progress, set goals, and provide feedback.
- Create and track sales targets, including daily, weekly, and monthly pacing based on projections.
- Conduct performance reviews for assigned team members to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Manage the CRM system to track data, run reports, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Ensure goals and expectations are achieved, including phone stats, new customers, revenue, margins, and other daily metrics.
- Assist with customer quotes and execution of day-to-day operations, including building, booking, and dispatching loads.
- Assist with the hiring process to identify and recruit top talent.
- Communicate, train, and manage remote employees to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles.
Requirements:
- A College Degree is preferred.
- Mcleod TMS experience is preferred but not required.
- Team lead or management experience is required.
- Relevant, advanced sales success in the Transportation Logistics industry is required.
- Proven ability to lead a sales team to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
- Demonstrated success motivating a sales team to surpass daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Experience working with technology, including Office products and specialized software platforms.
- Driven by a high moral and ethical compass.
