Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to join our team at Beemac Logistics. As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for growing a book of business in the transportation industry, while influencing and motivating others to perform at a high level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales training for new sales employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the role.
  • Lead weekly and monthly sales meetings to discuss progress, set goals, and provide feedback.
  • Create and track sales targets, including daily, weekly, and monthly pacing based on projections.
  • Conduct performance reviews for assigned team members to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Manage the CRM system to track data, run reports, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Ensure goals and expectations are achieved, including phone stats, new customers, revenue, margins, and other daily metrics.
  • Assist with customer quotes and execution of day-to-day operations, including building, booking, and dispatching loads.
  • Assist with the hiring process to identify and recruit top talent.
  • Communicate, train, and manage remote employees to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • A College Degree is preferred.
  • Mcleod TMS experience is preferred but not required.
  • Team lead or management experience is required.
  • Relevant, advanced sales success in the Transportation Logistics industry is required.
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated success motivating a sales team to surpass daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Experience working with technology, including Office products and specialized software platforms.
  • Driven by a high moral and ethical compass.
