Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager for a trendy and casual dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and creating a memorable dining experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys a positive and unforgettable dining experience. Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally.

Operational Management: Supervise daily operations, including opening and closing tasks, staff scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the venue.

Team Development: Inspire and lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel. Cultivate a supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous training.

Staff Oversight: Assist in managing and coordinating restaurant staff activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards. Provide coaching and guidance to enhance team performance.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and place orders with suppliers as necessary. Ensure proper storage and rotation of food and beverage items.

Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and established procedures.

Sales Initiatives: Support strategies to drive sales and promote menu items effectively.

Financial Oversight: Assist with cash handling processes, including sales reconciliation and daily deposits. Contribute to expense monitoring to achieve financial objectives.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar managerial role.

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
