Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring adherence to GAAP and organizational policies.

General Ledger Oversight:
Manage and oversee general ledger accounts, including account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

Cost Analysis:
Monitor and assess cost structures, including inventory and product costing, while assisting in budgeting and forecasting to optimize cost management.

Internal Control Development:
Create, implement, and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and protect company assets.

Audit Management:
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings as needed.

Financial Insight:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and offer insights on performance metrics, financial trends, and variances to aid management decision-making.

Process Enhancement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function and propose solutions to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, laws, and accounting standards. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Team Development:
Mentor and support junior accounting personnel, providing guidance and training to foster their skills and professional growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
