Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of general accounting and Procure to Pay functions. This role involves comprehensive inventory and cost analysis, gross-to-net evaluations, management of fixed assets, account reconciliations, and the preparation of financial and management reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards, with knowledge of IFRS considered advantageous.
- Maintain robust internal controls and guide offshore PTP Analysts and Staff Accountants in their accounting duties, including the review and posting of journal entries.
- Facilitate data collection, analysis, and documentation to ensure compliance with SOX and audit standards.
- Guarantee the timely and precise completion of monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and the Financial Reporting Package.
- Conduct financial analyses to investigate and explain variations in inventory, COGS, reserves, sales, expenses, and other significant balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requirements, providing necessary financial and analytical reports.
- Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, including headcount, payroll, and finance budgets.
- Engage in special projects and perform ad-hoc analyses and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of industry standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
- Proven success in a collaborative environment with strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with the Cost Accounting cycle and gross-to-net accounting is preferred.
- Capability to lead change initiatives and resolve complex financial issues.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and team management.
- Knowledge of Procure to Pay, intercompany, and shared-service processes is beneficial.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience with system implementations is advantageous.
- Previous work experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $89,500 to $109,500. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographical location and experience.
