Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in Finastra's Loan IQ platform to assist with project or production challenges. The successful candidate will be tasked with crafting robust solutions utilizing the Loan IQ Software Development Kit (SDK) and developing custom APIs to enhance the Loan IQ functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and develop enhancements and extensions to the Loan IQ platform using the Loan IQ SDK.
  • Develop secure, efficient, and reliable Loan IQ custom APIs to meet business needs.
  • Provide technical assistance for project and production challenges, including troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design comprehensive solutions, and ensure successful execution.
  • Maintain and improve existing Loan IQ customizations, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices.
  • Engage in code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and functionality of Loan IQ features.
  • Document technical specifications, design patterns, and API methodologies.
  • Guide junior developers and disseminate Loan IQ SDK knowledge within the development team.
  • Stay informed about the latest Loan IQ features and SDK updates.
  • Contribute to defining and evolving software development standards and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of Java development experience, focusing on enterprise-level applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with Finastra's Loan IQ SDK and familiarity with Loan IQ data models and business processes.
  • Experience in creating and utilizing custom APIs in a financial services environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and coding best practices.
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL, preferably with experience in Oracle or similar RDBMS.
  • Familiarity with the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience with Loan IQ table maintenance and setup.
  • Understanding of Loan IQ batch framework and accounting.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with source control management, continuous integration, and automated testing.

Valid USA Work Authorization is required.
