Marketing and Sales Manager Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Marketing and Sales Manager Trainee to join our dynamic team at NOVA Group in northern California. Our company works with influential name-brand clients in the telecommunications industry, relying on us to launch new products and promotions that drive customer acquisition efforts.

We utilize direct and experiential marketing and sales techniques to drive excitement around the brand, deliver exceptional product presentations, and promote customer loyalty. Our team's innate desire to provide excellent service and support and deliver high-performance results is at the center of each interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect potential consumers to grow the book of business and create a referral pipeline, increasing the opportunity for more closed sales.
  • Closely work with a generated lead list to promote products and services available in a given market.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive product presentations on the newest and most advanced telecommunication solutions in the industry.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all customers and clients even after the sale and installation process is complete, focusing on brand loyalty.
  • Regularly participate in ongoing training, virtual webinars, and brainstorming sessions amongst the sales and marketing team.
  • Collaborate with peers and industry partners to bring the most reliable, efficient, and innovative sales solutions available to businesses.
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including customers reached, presentations completed, orders processed, and any customer relationship issues.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
  • Experience in industries such as sales, marketing, hospitality, retail, customer service, or any other applicable client-facing enterprise.
  • Acute communication and active listening skills, including a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Self-motivation with a high level of ambition and drive for working in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to build relationships with a multitude of people and establish trust fairly quickly.
  • Confidence and perseverance are critical attributes to being successful in this role.
  • Ability to set reasonable and measurable goals and achieve them.
