Position Summary:

KIPP NYC is seeking an After School Programs Manager to assist with administrative functions within our after-school initiatives. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of After School Programs, the After School Programs Manager will oversee various tasks at a regional level to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities and a strong commitment to their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Program Directors
    • Conduct regular check-ins with Program Directors
    • Assist in the recruitment and training of new Program Directors
    • Research and liaise with vendors for program requirements
  • Facilitate program audits
    • Ensure adherence to Department of Health and DYCD regulations
    • Maintain updated program documentation
  • Support HR in recruitment processes
    • Participate in interviews for new hires
    • Track onboarding paperwork
    • Input background check details
  • Assist with financial tasks
    • Manage credit card expenditures
    • Review and process invoices
    • Monitor budgetary spending
  • Manage data collection and evaluations
    • Design and assess surveys for after-school programs
    • Collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders
    • Provide support at program locations as necessary
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in after-school programming
  • Knowledge of NYC regulations and grant compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to high-quality education

Compensation and Benefits:

KIPP NYC offers a competitive salary range of $80,340 - $92,700. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and a 403(b) retirement plan with matching contributions.
