Business Development Specialist

At Tri Counties Bank, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Banker I to join our team. As a Business Banker I, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify business prospects through business development efforts and collaboration with various business groups.
- Present a variety of business lending and deposit solutions to meet client needs through profiling and understanding business & industry trends.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with business clients, assist them with their financial needs, and promote bank products and services.
- Acquire new business through targeted marketing efforts and proactive outreach, and expand and nurture existing client relationships.
- Represent the Bank in the community for the purpose of generating additional business and identifying potential CRA opportunities for the bank.
- Understand the local market and proactively develop relationships with centers of influence and internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and instill confidence in customers by listening attentively and asking insightful questions to understand the customers' needs and preferences.
- Adhere to business banking lending processes, policies, procedures, legal, regulatory, audit, and ethical requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of sales, prospecting new business, and enhancing existing relationships.
- 3 years of relevant experience in a related field, preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A strong understanding of financial products and services, as well as proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for building and maintaining relationships with business clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to complete a high volume of work with accuracy.
