ROLE SUMMARY:

The Property Management Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and administrative assistance to both internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include overseeing rental properties, supporting HOA managers, and ensuring the smooth execution of office tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee rental properties to maximize business profitability
  • Support HOA managers and manage office operations
  • Address tenant inquiries and facilitate property showings
  • Coordinate rental applications and manage payment processes
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure property upkeep
  • Stay informed on landlord/tenant regulations and contract adherence
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and manage lease expirations
  • Identify and report any risk management issues and legal concerns
  • Handle move-in and move-out documentation and inspections
  • Review and authorize accounts payable
  • Keep logs and records for potential business leads

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma and customer service experience are essential
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and a desire for professional growth
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Utilize standard office equipment
  • Remain stationary for extended periods
  • Travel to offsite locations as necessary

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Occasional extended hours may be required
