POSITION PURPOSE:

The Property Management Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and administrative assistance to both internal teams and external clients. Key responsibilities include overseeing rental properties, supporting HOA managers, and ensuring the smooth execution of office operations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee rental properties to maximize business profitability
  • Support HOA managers and manage office tasks efficiently
  • Address tenant inquiries and facilitate property showings
  • Coordinate rental applications and manage payment processing
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure property upkeep
  • Stay informed on landlord/tenant regulations and compliance
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and manage lease expirations
  • Identify and report any risk management issues and legal concerns
  • Handle move-in and move-out documentation and inspections
  • Review and authorize accounts payable transactions
  • Keep logs and records of business leads

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma and customer service experience required
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and a desire for professional growth
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Utilize standard office equipment
  • Remain stationary for extended periods
  • Travel to offsite locations as necessary

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday-Friday from approximately 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Occasional extended hours may be required
