Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our esteemed web development team at On-Demand Group. This role is ideal for a professional who is enthusiastic about crafting comprehensive web solutions, integrating internal systems with third-party services, and delivering continuous value to our customers.

The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their extensive knowledge and skills to lead initiatives and act as a trusted advisor to the product team, quickly familiarizing themselves with our offerings.

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in code architecture and structure.

Qualifications to Stand Out:

  • Proven experience as a senior developer with a deep understanding of the entire technology stack.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering software platforms utilized by other developers.
  • Strong familiarity with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure, to ensure system resilience.
  • In-depth knowledge in areas such as NodeJS, web performance optimization, distributed systems, API design, and React/Vue.js.
  • A keen interest in learning new technologies, especially .NET Core, to contribute to greenfield API projects.
  • A DevOps mindset, with a focus on observability and proficiency in continuous integration and infrastructure as code.
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills, with a reputation for providing architectural solutions and problem-solving guidance.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in full stack web development, particularly with NodeJS and related technologies.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and associated frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for front-end development.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and webhooks for data synchronization.
  • Experience in architecting and deploying solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams in an agile setting.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions is a plus).
  • Experience with both structured and unstructured data in RDBMS and NoSQL databases (Redis).

Preferred Skills:

  • Interest in exploring new programming languages and frameworks for modern microservice architectures.
  • Experience with low-code website development tools.
  • Familiarity with consumer data platforms.
  • Experience with WordPress, including custom theme/plugin development and creating SPAs within WordPress.
