About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at J & J Staffing Resources. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers in handling municipal clients on various water and sewer projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical analysis, design, calculations, reports, and cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment facilities, potable water storage tanks, water distribution systems, pumping stations, and sanitary sewer rehabilitation.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of water distribution modeling and other relevant technologies.
Requirements
  • Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of water distribution modeling is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and people skills.
Professional Engineer Opportunities
  • Assist the firm in handling municipal clients on a variety of municipal water and sewer projects.
  • Provide technical analysis, design, calculations, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Work on projects areas including water and wastewater treatment facilities, potable water storage tanks, water distribution systems, pumping stations, and sanitary sewer rehabilitation.
Requirements for Professional Engineer
  • Must have NJ PE.
  • Must have 3-5 years' experience in water & sewer projects.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of water distribution modeling is a plus.
  • Experience with Water CAD and Auto Cad software is a plus.
  • Strength in all aspects of design and regulatory permitting.
