Senior.NET Lead

Saxon Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Lead to join our team in Des Moines, IA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our supply chain technology and ensuring the smooth operation of our technical products and platforms.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and the maintenance of high-quality technical products.
• System Integration: Design, implement, and test integrations between internal systems and third-party commercial supply chain-related software, including warehouse management, fleet management, and procurement platforms.
• Legacy System Modernization: Develop and support existing legacy and batch solutions, and contribute to the development of new technical complex solutions by analyzing and identifying areas of modification and improvement.
• On-Call Support: Participate in weekly on-call rotation to provide off-hour support to the business as needed.
• Roadmap Development: Contribute to and maintain the roadmap to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Monitor, identify, assess, and correct complex software problems to maintain fully functioning applications software.
• Knowledge Sharing: Proactively learn complex engineering and business industry best practices while correctly applying learning to daily work.
• Quality Assurance: Design, develop, execute, and maintain complex automated unit tests to ensure the quality of the solution being built.
• Process Improvement: Research and suggest improvements to increase the quality of the technical solution and supporting infrastructure to better meet users' needs.

• 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of Senior or.NET Lead Full stack experience leading a.NET team.
• Messaging Queue Experience: Must have experience working with messaging queues and/or JMS (JMS - run-time.NET library with SQL backend).
• Backend Development Experience: Strong backend development experience modernizing API and helping out with data mappings and services.
• .NET/C# Experience: Thorough understanding of.Net/C#, web development, and full-stack engineering using MS SQL Server.
• Legacy System Experience: Experience and comfort with supporting and enhancing legacy and batch solutions, including VB script.
• Metrics Tracking: Ability to help track metrics for leadership and display using a visualization tool like Splunk.
• Collaboration: Ability to collaborate and build relationships based on transparency and mutual respect.
• Problem-Solving: Takes initiative and can work independently, with minimal supervision, or as part of a team.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to remain organized and self-motivated.

• SOLID Principles: Deep understanding of SOLID principles.
• Legacy Code Transformation: Strong knowledge of transforming and breaking apart legacy code into testable units.
• Class and Method Wrapping: Understanding of sprout and wrap classes and methods.

• Domain Experience: Domain experience in retail and/or Supply Chain.
• Commercial SaaS Experience: Experience with commercial SaaS software implementation, integration, and configuration.
• Role-Based Security: Experience with role-based security and SSO solutions using Active Directory.
