Job Overview

Cambridge Real Estate Services is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst and Reporting Specialist to provide systems and reporting oversight, training, and high-level support to the affordable housing compliance, finance, and property management operations departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automate and optimize system processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Train and support site staff and employee resource center staff with Yardi technical issues
  • Recommend and implement new Yardi and RentCafe features and upgrades to improve processes
  • Conduct Yardi upgrades, trainings, and development of training materials
  • Support employee resource center staff in budget creation and implementation
  • Assist with Affordable Housing annual reporting
  • Build and maintain custom reports for internal and external clients
  • Assist preparation of financial and analytical reports for month-end, year-end, and external client reporting
  • Support the annual audit process with financial reporting and commentary
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, or related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or multi-site business database management
  • Strong Excel skills, advanced formulas, Visual Basic, and working with large data sets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • RentCafe experience preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
