Alta Planning + Design is seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team in Portland, OR. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and review invoices and supporting documentation on a monthly basis or as requested.
  • Set up new projects and modify project profiles in our accounting system according to established processes.
  • Maintain accurate project data to support effective budget management and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other staff to ensure they understand and comply with invoicing processes.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Billing Specialist, Project Specialist, Accounts Payable Specialist, or Credit/Collections Specialist or in a similar role within a professional service firm, or similar industry.
  • Experience using enterprise accounting tools and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
