Job Title: Operations Manager Residential Program

Day One is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Residential Youth Substance Use Treatment Program. This supervisory role requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing situations.

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will provide leadership and oversight for staff and clients in the residential milieu. This includes coordinating daily activities, managing house routines, and ensuring prompt scheduling of client appointments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating residential staff scheduling, overseeing medication management, and providing house coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff and clients in the residential milieu.
  • Coordinate and manage daily activities and house routines.
  • Ensure prompt scheduling of client appointments and coordinate residential staff scheduling.
  • Oversee medication management, initial screening, reporting, and record-keeping functions.
  • Provide house coverage as needed and assist clients and staff with day-to-day operations.
  • Supervise and assist clients with daily living skills as needed.
  • Dispense medications and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements and Skills

  • Demonstrated competence in carrying out office functions and record keeping.
  • At least two years of administrative experience or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written); ability to communicate effectively over the phone and maintain a high level of public relations with other service providers and parents.
  • Computer literacy with standard software applications.
  • Ability to function autonomously and as a team member.
  • Ability to cope with stressful situations and to interact cordially with clients and co-workers.
  • Experience or willingness to learn crisis intervention and/or management skills.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and periodically transport clients.
  • Obtain CRMA license.
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, or evenings if needed in an emergency or to offer staff training and support.
