Job Summary:

AHRC Nassau is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Community Living Services Program. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and support for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of Direct Support Professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
  • Implement and maintain all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including OPWDD, COMPASS, and CQL standards.
  • Manage operational budgets, including overtime, FTEs, food, and non-food expenses, to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and paperwork, including individual records and agency required documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage staff support meetings and performance evaluations to ensure ongoing supervision and development of employees.
  • Participate in the CLS program's management on-call system and attend management, cluster, and individual-related meetings.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills.
  • AMAP certified.
  • Prior domestic household experience required.
