As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing staff, schedules, and finances, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the supervision, collaboration, discipline, hiring, and termination of direct support staff.
- Ensure compliance with residential regulations, agency policy, and procedures.
- Manage budgetary compliance with staff schedules, overtime, and household expenses.
- Ensure accurate documentation and billing requirements are met.
- Schedule direct support staff and perform direct support duties as needed.
- Work with families, advocates, or correspondents on behalf of individuals supported in the home.
- Develop and implement management best practices to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum one year prior experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- One year of supervisory experience in any field required.
- Medical certification required.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Valid NYS Driver's license required.
- Travel required; employee must have reliable transportation available.
