This position entails the leadership and oversight of our enterprise risk management framework, focusing on regulatory compliance and advisory functions, as well as addressing emerging risks. This role supports the global initiative and specific licensing requirements associated with our compliance risk assessments. Acting as a senior liaison among compliance, business operations, and risk management, this position evaluates risks and ensures clarity in risk-related discussions. The role supervises the team's execution of risk assessments, utilizing data elements, tools, and thorough risk analysis to support licensed entity obligations and business strategies. Additionally, the role provides guidance for risk modeling pertinent to our enterprise risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in developing risk assessments for the compliance program and other significant regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., Climate, Geopolitical Assessments).
  • Oversee and facilitate the creation of risk models to inform business strategies and assist in risk-related decisions.
  • Present risk assessment findings, data, and outcomes to regulatory authorities, business partners, and key stakeholders, promoting transparency and informing them about the risk analysis conducted and the overall AML compliance framework.
  • Assist senior management in maintaining a comprehensive view of all risks inherent in TWUC business models by conducting risk assessments, supporting the compilation of risks (e.g., Global Risk Register), and advocating for risk ownership in risk analysis.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and reporting of emerging risks across the organization, producing ad hoc enterprise and regulatory risk reports or assessments as needed.
  • Lead and guide the creation of meaningful enterprise risk analysis and reporting for the Executive Risk Committee and other senior stakeholders (e.g., risk assessments, risk registers, enterprise risk reporting, KRIs reporting, etc.).
  • Manage the development, evolution, management, and reporting of TWUC Key Risk Indicators to the respective Boards and senior management.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the risk management framework and risk strategy documentation for the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of risk and control policies and protocols to identify, manage, and mitigate risks within business processes.
  • Encourage the adoption and application of risk policies and procedures throughout the organization in a manner that effectively supports each relevant function.
  • People Management: Foster a shared vision and cultivate a collaborative, high-performing team culture, managing, motivating, and guiding members of the Risk Team to attract and retain skilled personnel.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in risk management.
  • Experience in a large organization with multi-state requirements across various regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated management capabilities and team leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Proficient in executive presentation.
  • Project management experience.
  • Willingness to travel to industry-related seminars and relevant licensing entities.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

Salary
The annual base salary range is $151,745 – $252,908 per year. This role is also eligible for short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
