This position is accountable for the strategic direction and management of our enterprise risk management framework, focusing on regulatory compliance and advisory as well as identifying emerging risks. This role supports the global program and specific licensing requirements related to our compliance enterprise risk evaluations. Acting as a senior liaison among compliance, business units, and risk management, this position assesses risks and promotes transparency in risk-related discussions. The role supervises the team’s execution of risk evaluations, utilizing data elements, tools, and comprehensive risk analysis to support licensed entity requirements and informed business decisions. Additionally, this role provides guidance for risk modeling associated with our enterprise risk management strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team in developing risk evaluations for compliance programs and other essential regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., Climate, Geopolitical Assessments).
  • Oversee and manage the creation of risk models to inform business strategies and assist in risk-related decisions.
  • Present risk evaluation data, findings, and outputs to regulatory bodies, business partners, and key stakeholders, fostering transparency in the risk analysis and overall compliance program.
  • Assist senior management in maintaining a comprehensive perspective on all risks inherent in the business models by conducting risk evaluations, supporting the collection of risks (e.g., Global Risk Register), and advocating for risk ownership in risk analysis.
  • Conduct regular oversight and reporting of emerging risks across the organization, producing ad hoc enterprise and regulatory risk reports or assessments as necessary.
  • Guide the development of significant enterprise risk analysis and reporting to the Executive Risk Committee and other senior stakeholders (e.g., risk evaluations, risk registers, enterprise risk reporting, KRIs reporting, etc.).
  • Manage the development, evolution, management, and reporting of TWUC Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to the respective Boards and senior management, ensuring the maintenance of TWUC KRIs registers, analysis of KRI information, and production of KRI dashboards to proactively identify deviations and trends requiring attention from Executive Management and Risk senior management.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the risk management framework and risk strategy documentation for the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of risk and control policies and protocols to identify, manage, and mitigate risks in business processes (e.g., Enterprise Risk Management Policy, Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Enterprise Risk and Controls Self-Assessment Procedure, etc.).
  • Promote the adoption and application of risk policies and procedures throughout the organization in a manner that effectively supports each relevant function.
  • People Management: Cultivate a shared vision and foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture, managing, motivating, and guiding employees in the Risk Team to attract and retain skilled personnel.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in risk management.
  • Experience in a large organization with multi-state requirements across various regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated management skills and team leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
