Your Role
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with Independent Retail Agents and Carrier Underwriters to meet production targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with Specialty Carriers to secure competitive pricing and access to diverse coverage options.
  • Evaluate submissions to focus on high-potential sales opportunities while adhering to Carrier guidelines to ensure a profitable portfolio.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of insurance products, industry sectors, and business types.
  • Assess submissions from Retail Agents to determine the most suitable Carrier, coverage, forms, and premiums.
  • Collect data on client risks to identify additional areas of exposure that could be quoted.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics that influence underwriting practices, pricing, and premiums.
  • Ensure that business partners are aware of the full spectrum of risk solutions available as their needs evolve.
  • May lead and mentor a support team, overseeing their contributions.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
About You
  • Meticulous with strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency in achieving production objectives.
  • Sets ambitious revenue growth targets and formulates actionable sales strategies.
  • Utilizes data and analytical tools to pinpoint client risks and craft comprehensive insurance solutions.
  • Maintains high standards of responsiveness and dedication to meeting the needs of Retailers and their clients.
  • Communicates insurance and risk management expertise in a manner that builds trust and positions Gallagher as a premier insurance provider.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possession of a Home state P&C license or willingness to obtain it within the first 90 days of employment.
