About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team at The Lovesac Company. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with best-in-class suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, while supporting and enabling our product innovation pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the material sourcing and pre-production sample approval process for product development activities, while partnering cross-functionally to execute to brand strategies and financial targets.
  • Own vendor communication, sample development and pre-production deliverables for respective product categories.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive best unit economics, while maintaining product quality and timeline.
  • Identify, vet, and develop best-in-class electronics suppliers to support our product innovation pipeline.
  • Continuously manage risk through stakeholder education on viable end-to-end sourcing and production timelines.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to support product placement and cost negotiations.
  • Responsible for monitoring supplier performance and leading QBRs with suppliers to review scorecards.
  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) with a focus on leveraging spend, and COG unit reductions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or other quantitative discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the commodity management, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain disciplines, with a specific focus in Consumer Electronics and Audio parts and components.
  • Experience in sourcing Wi-Fi enabled speakers and familiarity with Qi chargers preferred, but not required.
  • People management experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Maintains the highest level of customer service, creating solutions and experiences that drive business results and engagement with the brand.
  • Software requirements - indicate proficiency level and specific platforms needed.
