Job Title: Technology Sourcing Manager

CTG is seeking a highly skilled Technology Sourcing Manager to join our team in Stamford, CT. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of converting to a full-time role.

Job Summary:

The Technology Sourcing Manager will play a critical role in the company's technology procurement process, responsible for managing the evaluation, selection, and implementation of contractual agreements with vendors. This includes negotiating global and strategic technology contracts, working with internal stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met, and collaborating with procurement teams to ensure accurate reporting and internal billing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the evaluation and selection of vendors for strategic technology and agency functions, ensuring alignment with corporate and IT-specific goals.
  • Negotiate global and strategic technology contracts, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure accurate reporting and internal billing of managed software and service agreements.
  • Develop and implement processes for evaluating and selecting vendors, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and best practices.
  • Provide input for budgeting and assist in assembling budget justification materials.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to assess the impact of alternative courses of action.
  • Work collaboratively with finance to create charge-back models, reviewing purchasing patterns, program compliance, inter-company billing, tax implications, and contractual obligations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of technology operations, including procurement, operations, requirements gathering, project management, cost analysis, and forecasting.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
