Database Management Specialist

As a key member of our team at Diverse Lynx LLC, you will be responsible for managing database concepts, focusing on relational and non-relational database management systems. Your expertise in Business Intelligence, specifically data lake, data mart, and data warehousing, will be crucial in translating business requirements into data/technical specifications.
Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, understanding and exposure to data modeling/architecture, data profiling/data quality/gap and impact analysis, and exposure to various databases such as Snowflake, SQL Server, and Oracle. Additionally, you will be proficient in Agile tools like JIRA, scripting/coding languages such as SQL/PL/SQL, Python, and Java.
Proficiency in Database DDL/DML statements, Functions, and Stored Procedures for data transformation and manipulation is essential. You will also be responsible for designing and architecting ETL solutions, performing ETL design on assigned projects, and analyzing and organizing raw data from different sources.
Documenting related to Data Flow and ETL design, developing and modifying ETL code, workflows, and mappings, and unit & integration testing, UAT & Prod Support are also key responsibilities. Regular status updates and coordination with clients, working with cross-functional and offshore teams to ensure alignment on goals and tactics are also expected.
