Position Overview:

Zoox is on the lookout for a dedicated University Relations Recruiter to enhance our recruitment strategies and operational efforts for our internship initiatives and university engagement. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in the recruitment cycle for our internship program by evaluating resumes, proactively sourcing candidates, and facilitating the interview process.

As you progress, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute strategies that amplify Zoox's visibility at academic institutions, ensuring our outreach is in line with our recruitment objectives. We seek individuals who are eager to expand our program, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, excel in social environments, and are passionate about communicating Zoox's mission to potential candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source intern candidates, assess resumes, and manage interview logistics.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers across various departments to grasp recruitment requirements.
  • Assist in organizing and executing events tailored for interns.
  • Enhance brand recognition and represent Zoox at university fairs, informational sessions, and other recruitment events.
  • Provide ongoing support and serve as a resource for interns throughout their tenure.
  • Analyze key data metrics to aid the team in making informed, data-driven recruitment and partnership decisions.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sourcing or recruitment, ideally within a technical sector.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable with public speaking engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, preferably in university recruiting.

Compensation: This role is a contract position, with employment facilitated through a vendor partnered with Zoox. The compensation range for this position is between $60 and $65 per hour, and you will be eligible for a benefits package as provided by the vendor.
