Position Overview:

Zoox is in search of a dedicated University Relations Recruiter to enhance our recruitment strategies and operational processes for our internship initiatives and university engagement activities. This role involves supporting the recruitment cycle for our internship program by evaluating resumes, strategically identifying potential candidates, and managing the interview logistics.

As you grow in this position, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing strategies to elevate Zoox's visibility at educational institutions, ensuring our outreach aligns with our recruitment goals. We seek individuals who are eager to expand our program, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, excel in social environments, and are passionate about communicating Zoox's mission to potential candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source candidates for internship roles, assess resumes, and facilitate interview processes.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend recruitment requirements across various departments.
  • Assist in organizing and executing events tailored for interns.
  • Enhance brand visibility and represent Zoox at career fairs, informational sessions, and other recruitment venues.
  • Provide ongoing support and act as a resource for interns throughout their internship experience.
  • Analyze key data metrics to aid the team in making informed decisions regarding recruitment and strategic partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sourcing or recruitment, ideally within a technical sector.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable with public speaking engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, preferably in university recruitment.

Compensation: This is a contract role, and employment will be managed through a vendor associated with Zoox. The hourly pay range for this position is between $60 and $65, with eligibility for a benefits package as provided by the vendor.
