Position: Development Process Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH

Overview:
As a Development Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, installation, commissioning, validation, and initiation of manufacturing process systems tailored for ingredient preparation, liquid processing, cleaning-in-place (CIP), spray drying, dry blending, powder handling, retort processing, and aseptic processing within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all process parameters and operational conditions comply with USDA and FDA regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience applying engineering principles in the Food or Pharmaceutical sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with liquid aseptic processing and filling in the food industry is essential.
- Experience in powder processing and wet mixing within the food sector is preferred.
- A technical background in healthcare, nutritional products, or related industries is advantageous.

While the manager is open to considering candidates with backgrounds as Manufacturing Engineers, Validation Engineers, or Electrical Engineers, it is imperative that applicants possess the requisite experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical industries. A background in aseptic processing is highly desirable.
