- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve worker efficiency, implementing changes to enhance overall productivity and quality.
- Project Management: Manage fabrication efforts for specific projects, estimating costs and schedules, and optimizing fabrication schedules while considering technical risk and overall timeline.
- Manufacturing Specifications: Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components, managing inventory levels and optimizing supply chain operations.
- Education: Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Experience: 3+ years of production management and/or manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with prior experience in NPI and project management.
- Skills: Working knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication/machining techniques, mechanical assembly, and blue-print reading/inspection, with expertise in MS Project or equivalent scheduling/tracking software.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated team building and interpersonal relationships skills, with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S methodologies.
$80,000 to $120,000 + bonus and other associated benefits.
