Development Process Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH

Overview
As a Development Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, installation, commissioning, validation, and initiation of manufacturing process systems. Your expertise will encompass ingredient preparation, liquid processing, cleaning-in-place (CIP), spray drying, dry blending, powder handling, retort processing, and aseptic processing within the Client Nutrition sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement manufacturing process systems ensuring optimal functionality and compliance.
  • Oversee adherence to process parameters and operational conditions in accordance with USDA and FDA regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience applying engineering principles in the Food or Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of liquid aseptic processing and filling within the food industry.
  • Experience in powder processing and wet mixing in food production.
  • A technical background in healthcare, nutritional products, or related fields is preferred.
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Validation Engineer, or Electrical Engineer, provided they possess the necessary experience in Food or Pharma.
  • Preference for candidates with a background in aseptic processing.
