Position Overview
The Life Sciences Solutions Group (LSG) is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in supporting various financial functions, including Group Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Tax departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze large datasets retrieved from ERP systems using advanced Excel and Power Query techniques.
- Ensure timely maintenance of global transfer pricing at the SKU level to support tax compliance and internal teams.
- Conduct audits of intercompany transfer pricing to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical guidance on intercompany accounting, focusing on tracking discrepancies during month-end close.
- Review general ledger activities, investigate discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
- Perform comprehensive financial statement analyses, including fluctuations and ratios, for regional controllership.
- Oversee the closure of capitalization requests for regional controllership.
- Collaborate with external and internal auditors, addressing their requests effectively.
- Assist with various ad-hoc projects and requests from Projects, Accounting, and Finance teams.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a large public international corporation or a public accounting firm.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential; familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or COGNOS is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and work collaboratively across functions.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and delivering results in a timely manner.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a variable annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
