- Payroll Processing: Coordinate the payroll cycle, including the accrual of sick leave and paid time off, ensuring timely distribution of payroll checks.
- Retirement Contributions: Manage and submit 403(b) payroll contributions punctually.
- Workers Compensation Management: Maintain an up-to-date workers compensation record and process related check requests efficiently.
- Financial Reporting: Assist the CFO in compiling month-end journal entries related to payroll and other necessary financial entries.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare necessary documentation for annual financial and 403(b) audits.
- Budget Assistance: Contribute to the development of the annual financial budget and prepare tax reports and state-required documents.
- Employee Enrollment: Facilitate the enrollment of all employees in the American United Life 403(b) plan.
- Compliance Monitoring: Manage employee status and qualifications in accordance with ACA regulations and oversee the 1095 Return process.
- Equipment Coordination: Order and manage computer equipment for employees as required.
- Technical Support Coordination: Collaborate with IT support for computer issues and installations.
- Issue Resolution: Assess and resolve WIFI and software issues, determining when to escalate to IT support.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and manage sales tax submissions.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
