Job Overview

We're searching for a self-driven, results-oriented sales professional to achieve and surpass sales goals for Katapult's LTO (lease-to-own) production nationally. This individual will manage and grow an expanding pipeline of retail merchants looking to grow their ecommerce and omnichannel sales by focusing on the large population of underserved consumers. The ideal candidate will have a track record of proactive and successful outreach and relationship management with evidence of positive sales and high individual performance results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and increase sales revenue to meet and exceed assigned targets
  • Leverage product enhancements and features to keep retailers informed of the evolving value proposition
  • Monitor competitive activity and develop new methods of attracting retailers and assisting retailers in attaining new accounts
  • Troubleshoot problems regarding products provided
  • Identify and develop ecommerce and omnichannel sales opportunities to present Katapult's leasing platform and win new business
  • Drive a high level of targeted outbound prospecting to ecommerce and Omnichannel retailers while maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to support the identification of business development opportunities
  • Represent Katapult at networking events, conferences, and in-person meetings with prospects
  • Maintain relationships with strategic retail partners to drive existing and new business
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
  • 7+ years in sales, particularly selling to merchants/ecommerce retailers
  • Fintech industry experience preferred with a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem
  • CRM experience (Hubspot is a plus)
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Strong sense of urgency for goal and professional achievement
  • Ability to work without close supervision
